Being huge Metal fans, when coming up with names or titles for our Zombies and designs we’ve often drew names from the deep well of Metal song titles such as :
Here’s a challenge to all you true Metalheads, We’ve peppered song titles and verses throughout our website. Can you find them all? Post up as many as you can find !
One of our more horrifying zombies is Rampage. Hard to believe this massive death machine was born from a super quick doodle on a torn piece of an envelope
We guess we could say he then grew into a pencil sketch on Bristol. His massive body was leaning forward and his head facing Right, but we decided he’d look even more terrifying facing forward with a slightly demented tilt to it.
The final draft of Rampage could even make the Hulk think twice about smashing this monsterous zombie
Some of our Death Heads came from one page of quick sketches. Most of these made it onto our gear.
There were a bunch of different combinations we thought of doing for our Zombie Death Horde design. Here’s one of our early sketches (done on a yellow Post it). The top deadhead was originally gonna be a zombie skull. You can also see the zombie on the left has a mohawk, which is a design that still has yet to rise.
We had a tough time deciding what would look cool for a background. We ended up using 2 backgrounds,
1: a Red tribal graphic,
and 2: our UZ Mark logo here seen in monochrome. We also chose to changed our lettering for this one. Which zombie art concept do you prefer?
Here’s our 1st draft of our Whiplash design
When coming up with concepts for our designs, we try to think a lil outside the box so we decided to give this flesh eater long hair and a bandana. Thinking a bit more on the realistic side, we decided that his face and teeth were pretty rotted so we shaved off his “healthy” locks. We thought he kinda looks like a whiplash victim so being huge Metallica fans we named him WHIPLASH!!
Uberzombie’s Psycho Zombie Design beginning with pencil drawing, to Black n White computer graphic effect, to full color finished product. We wanted to create a zombie that’s not only scary, but with a crazed look on his face. I mean, these are Uberzombies
